Rond de jambe par terre
We have already learned what demi-rond is. Today we will learn about the full rond de jambe par terre. It’s translated as a circular movement of the leg on the floor. It’s done to the front and to the back. Gliding from first position the leg is extended to the front as per battement tendu principles. Making a semi circle with your point on the floor, moving from second position to the back and closing in first position.
Let’s try to do a combination and afterwards we’ll do some stretching as we usually do in class.
